Home Source has been involved in many renovations ranging from small bungalows to large family homes, incorporating styles from ultra traditional to contemporary. The photo gallery below gives visible evidence that the dust of renovation is always worth it for the end result!
Victorian Charm
Some projects push us to grow, learn and challenge ourselves in ways we hadn't imagined. Such was the case with the renovation of a beautiful Victorian in historic Columbus, Mississippi! We learned alot, cussed a little more, but still feel proud to have breathed life back into a deserving old lady and made her ready for another 125 years. We think the end result speaks for itself!
Many thanks to the Wilder family who visited us, told us stories and shared their love of a home they owned for almost 70 years. Some jobs are about more than the work.

A House on a Hill
We always enjoy the projects that let us flex our creative muscle a little and especially the ones that have dramatic results with the most basic changes. Add homeowners who bake us cakes and we will really get busy!
Small Projects...Big Returns in 2016!!
Every project doesn't have to be a full renovation or disruptive. Sometimes a small project and a minimal budget can make all the difference in the way a home functions. Give the Home Source team a chance to help make a house YOUR HOME!
Hot in Houston!
This 50's rancher in Houston, MS, was stuck with a 70's kitchen and had the scars to prove it. The existing custom cabinetry was too good to toss, with a pantry cabinet and lots of pull out organizational drawers. The homeowner elected for a fresh coat of paint on the cabinets, updated countertops, new appliances and flooring. Add a metallic mosaic tile backsplash and you have a space where any cook would be glad to pull out the pots!
Tupelo Traditional
This homeowner was ready to sell and needed general maintenace, updating and organization. Inside Outside employed a number of approaches ranging from basic painting to furniture repositioning. No surface was left untouched. New bedding, rugs and accessories through the house complemented existing furnishings, making everything feel new and fresh. New granite counters and a hip backsplash for the kitchen completed this makeover...one so successful the owner decided to stay and enjoy the work!
Cottage Charm!
This Tupelo cottage had all the right elements in place, it just needed a fresh face. Some power washing, fresh paint, new plantings and attention to detail made all the difference!
Stately and Superb
Mountain Brook, AL
This beautiful property was in a state of severe disrepair and neglect. Peeling paint, roof leaks, overgrown landscaping and no cosmetic updates in years had left this lovely home looking shabby and forlorn. Inside Outside took on the project, giving her a complete overhaul including a new roof, refinished hardwoods, new paint inside and out, a new back porch and fresh landscaping. A new owner is continuing to improve and breathe new life into this traditional Southern beauty!

Farmhouse Fresh
Baldwyn, MS
Built in 1967, the farmhouse has a New England saltbox feel. The previous owner had completed some structural repairs, so a significant budget item was already addressed. On the downside, not one update had been made since the house was built. The original olive green and red carpeting was still in place and dark paneling ruled most of the rooms. Dingy ceilings and natural wood moldings made rooms feel small and low. Additionally, the house was part of an estate and had been empty for several years, so dust and musty odors were present in force! Inside Outside removed the old vinyl siding, taking the walls back to the original lap. A new front porch and an antique door complete the transition to traditional farmhouse.

Old School....the early projects
Random sampling of some of the projects completed in the beginning. A desire to make these spaces the best they could be on shoestring budgets led to some creative ideas! We are still proud of these today.
